I've been on several airplane flights as a child and while growing up. None of those were the jet-liners we are use to today, but prop-jobs as I like to call them.

So I was fairly use to flying before my first memorable jet-plane flight...
It was on a Boeing DC-10 and it went from Charleston, SC to Atlanta in about 30 minutes.
I loved the take-off; I was sitting back and at a sharp angle, being pushed back into my seat, and the plane was in the air and circling Charleston in less than a minute.
I looked out my window and saw a smaller large city, and getting smaller by the second.
As an older teen, this was a thrilling ride for me. All that power pushing me upward and into the air, above the clouds.

Most of the flights in my life have been great ones with no problems and there were a few I could have done without (I have some good short-stories about those).
But that's flying and it has its ups and downs (literally ).

That was my daughters first time flying and she loved it! She flew from pittsburgh straight to Paris. She was taking pictures and video out of the airplane window! She enjoyed it. On the way home she flew from Barcelona, Italy to New York. That flight was fine. However her flight from New York was scary because they were going through heavy storms. A lot of flights didn't even take off. She said the worst part was actually the landing on this flight because it was a bouncy one.

She also says that she would fly anywhere. She's not scared at all.

OK just reading those stories about flying almost made me sick to my stomach, so I really can't even imagine what it would be like if I were to actually supposed to get on a plane bound to anywhere!!!
I don't know if it will ever happen. I think if I were to get the chance to go to Vegas I may just have to drive there. I think that may be the only way to get there for someone like me.
