Default Buy Gold Bars in a Vending Machine

Las Vegas has always been a bit different and over the top. Well I guess with that in mind the Golden Nugget in Vegas has decided to invest in a gold vending machine.

Basically people can put in their money (cash only) and choose either a gram gold bar or a ounce gold coin.

The bar costs $60 and the coin is $1,400.

The machine is called "Gold to Go".

Quote:
"It lets our guests who win a little money in the casino go right over to this machine and make a little money and invest it in a wise way," Golden Nugget CEO Tilman Fertitta said.
There is another machine of this sort in Florida and I guess it does quite well. They say they have to refill it about every three days. They expect this one to do even better.

Default Re: Buy Gold Bars in a Vending Machine

I don't know much about either buying gold or selling gold, but if I were you Danielfisher I would first turn to the internet and get as much information on the coin that you have. After that then maybe looking into gold dealers and what not and see what prices they are offering if your serious about selling it.

Though personally if it were something that was given to you by your Grandfather you may want to hold onto it and pass it along as a family heirloom.

Now as for the Golden Nugget getting in a vending machine that dispenses gold to visitors that doesn't surprise me. Your right that when it comes to Vegas just about everything is over the top.
