Crime on Children in Las Vegas

I have learned so much about Las Vegas and almost all of it has been positive but like anywhere else, they do have their fair share of crime. This one got my blood boiling though because it was against children.

Being a mom myself I just cannot stand things like this at all.

A Las Vegas man was watching his girlfriend's children when he decided he would rather go to a bar and watch a basketball game. He bound and gagged the kids and put them in the garage! These are two toddlers I am talking about!

A neighbor heard them crying in the garage and called the police. The police found the boys tied into their car seats with gags in their mouths.

The man told the court that he only tied them to keep them from hurting themselves!!! Imagine that!

He was sentenced to two to six years in prison. Not enough if you ask me. He will be out in no time I am sure.

Unfortunately these types of things happen everywhere. And I think that that man should have gotten more time for this than what he did.

For anyone to do something like this to a child is just heartbreaking to hear about. The time that they get for doing this should be much longer.

This is just sickening!!! I strongly believe that if someone regardless of who it is does something like this against a child they should not be send to jail, they should be killed.

These children could have easily ended up dying from being gagged, and if you do something to hurt a child then you should not be allowed to continue living.

I really dislike child abuse as you might be able to tell, but it is for good reasons!

I really wish there was a way to stop child abuse all together, but sadfully there just isn't any way.

And think about this... if he as capable of doing that how much further could he go? I'd hate to think about what he might do if the kids made him upset or something.

I have three kids and as frustrating as they have made me at times over the years never once had I thought about hurting them or bounding and gagging them. You don't hurt the people you love.
