Default Don't Only Gamble

Don't only gamble was a suggestion that was given to me by my sweeties parents who head to Vegas at least twice per year. They say that if you only gamble while in Las Vegas your gonna miss out on a whole lot of other exciting things as well.

I have never been there and already know not to just gamble constantly. Personally I am not much of a gambler to begin with. I mainly want to visit Las Vegas for sight seeing and experiences.

Of course I would have to gamble a little bit just take my chances and maybe win, but to also say hey I did that,LOL.

However there are so many things I have seen and heard about Las Vegas that I also want to see and experience!

There are a whole lot of different things to do in Vegas, gambling is only one of the many things.

Yeah, that's why the call it Sin City...If you want to do just about anything, you can probably do it in Vegas.

Or try it somewhere on the outskirts of Vegas where there's thousands of acres of desert and mountains.

Their recommendation of dont just gamble was right on. There is so much to do in Las Vegas. Just walking through the different casinos can be a great experience.

And the number of shows that are available are fantastic. You can see Terry Fator (ventorliquist), Viva Elvis, Ka, Mystere, Blue Man Group and many, many more.

You can take helicopter tours over the Grand Canyon, ride in a gondola and so much more.

So they are right, dont spend all your time at the slots, get out and experience the sights of Las Vegas.

My wife and I spent many hours just looking through a few of the casinos during our half-dozen or so visits, and we still haven't seen over half of them on the strip.

I'd love to just go walking through the casinos I haven't been to yet, could definately spend several days just looking and taking pictures.

I agree that you shouldn't just gamble while you are there. There are so many aspects to Las Vegas, gambling is just one of them. Besides, if you sat there gambling the whole time you'd get fat and have butt sores lol.

My ultimate trip to Vegas would be to go see Terry Fator, to walk through all of the casinos I could manage while I was there.

To see the free shows, and take a gondola ride, maybe take in one of the clubs.

And the ultimate thing would be to win one huge jackpot if I could.

The MGM Grand is one hotel and casino I have yet to see, although I keep telling myself I would see it on my next visit.
Plus I haven't seen the Wynn and now there's a near-duplicate of it called Encore, beside the Wynn.

Those are the three hotel casinos I would love to visit on my next trip to Vegas.

I have yet to see The Blue Man Group, other than on YouTube, and would like to see their performance one day.
