I am sure Las Vegas does the 4th up right! Just as they do all holidays!

How was your 4th? I hope you got to spend it with friends and family and enjoy great food and fireworks.

As usual, I spent my holiday at work. I had to be there form open to close and got no extra pay for it. I that is bs! I really think that if they want us to work the holidays then we should at least get a little extra for it.

I didn't get to see a single firework nor did I get to attend any of the dozen or so cookouts I was invited to. It was a real bummer.

Hopefully next year all of these holidays won't fall on my weekends to work!

That would be something different!!!

Don't be so hard on yourself vegasrocks, I didn't actually do much either.

Spent my 4th of July sharpening lawnmower blades and mowing the yard.
Yeah, I did relax some too, but I know there were family cookouts and fireworks I could have attended.

I remember a time when one of my employers promised me a 4th of July with my family.
A few hours before the cookout started I had to start work because I was "needed" for the day.
All I could do is look out my window and watch some fireworks going off here and there...now I know how you felt vegasrocks.
