New Years Resolutions

Well in just a few short days we will all say good bye to 2009 and welcome in 2010!!!

It seems to me that this year has completely flown by. I know that it hasnt, but it sure feels like it.

Any way, what are some of your resolutions for the comming new year?

I know that this year I am going to lose weight (which is proably the most common resolution made), see Adam Lambert in concert, and I want to take a vacation in Las Vegas!

Those are the top three on my list for the comming new year.Hopefully you all will also share yours as well.

Oh and I wanted to remind everyone to hold at least one penny in your hand at midnight (if your not to tipsy to do so), its supposed to bring you better luck in the new year for keeping money always in your pocket.

It sounds silly but it never hurts to try!

I try not to make any..lol When I do I never able to keep them, so I just say I want to do things and hope I can stick to it..LOL

I want so badly to quit smoking. To lose 10 pounds, and to get in better physical shape.

If I can accomplish those three things, I will be very happy indeed.

Usually I dont bother with resolutions at all but this year I am really going to work at them.

Talking about quitting smoking, I am sure gonna try. I ordered some of thoses electric cigs, and gonna see if I can quit using them.

They look weird but hey you can smoke them anyplace..LOL I got the ones with the lowest nicotine in them. I will let you know if they work.

Like most of you, I don't tend to make any resolutions anymore. I used to but I never stick to them so I quit lol.

I would love to quit smoking. I have tried many times and failed miserably after a few days. That would be my resolution if I were making one though.

Hey, I am going to try the penny in the hand thing and see if that works! I could use a windfall lol!

What is the penny in the hand thing? Ive never heard of that one.

I can quit, I did it before, cold turkey, but dang I do so enjoy smoking.

Weight loss will be my big problem area as I love to eat. But I will try and will let you know what happens.

I am just the opposite, when I try to quit I do not eat. The reason being when I eat I want a cig..LOL

I quit for 2 and half years long time ago and lost weight and I am little enough already LOL

The penny in the hand thing is an old superstition that seems silly, yet something I do every year at midnight on New Years.

The superstition goes that if you hold at least a penny in your hand at midnight on New Years, you will have money in your pocket through out the year.

I cant really say if it works or not, but since I started doing it, it seems that I am always able to scrounge up a bit of money when it is needed. Just because of this I will continue doing so every year. I would rather not take the chance of not doing it and not having money in the new year when it is needed the most.
