Default Prefered Casinos

I have yet another question to all those who have been to Las Vegas...Yeah I know I am full of questions, its a habit.

I was just wondering which casino in Las Vegas to each of you prefer to play and stay at, and what makes this your prefered place to be?

Is it the comps offered there, staff, atmosphere, games, food or anything else?

I have heard from many friends that they will only stay at a certain place or gamble only in one casino, though I was wondering why people do this.

There are so many hotels in Las Vegas as well of course as casinos, that it is mind boggling that they would limit themselves just one place pretty much.

Does anyone here do the same thing, or do you all prefer to experience the differences in each place?

I personally would have to say that I would want to stay different places (not in one trip) as well as experience different hotels and so on. I dont think I would want to do the same things on each trip there.

My favorite hotel-casino is the Palazzo.

When you go through the front entrance it does look like a palace.

Checking in is easy and you just follow the casnio signs to get to the casino.

Once you're in the casino you go strait to the elevators and then to your room.

The casino is huge and roomy with hundreds of games layed out before you.
First are a couple rows of slots and then the big area with table games near the center of the casino.

The clubs and dining areas are to the right and left of the room elevators, so you will have a hard time getting lost here.

The casino's information desk, where you pick up your club cards, is just beside the upper-floor escalators which makes it an easy thing to remember.

You will notice with a lot of the larger hotel-casnios, where you have to follow signs so you don't get lost.

But at the Palazzo most everything is layed out to where you can make just one walk around and know where everything is located.

They only experience i have with land based casinos are Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT. and i have to say, these casinos have thousands of slot machines but you have to search and search to find an open one, are the casinos in Vegas like this also? And the casinos in Vegas are smaller in size and slot machines are not as many, so i am thinking it must be hard to find a slot machine and once you have one, you should not give it up?

thanks

On the weekends in Vegas it is kinda hard to find your favorite slot machine to play on.
But during the week it's not so bad. You can usually find your machine that is not occupied in one of the casinos.

This also depends on the time of the year you visit Las Vegas.

Most of the larger hotel casinos have a thousand or more slot machines to play on.
It looks like many of the casinos are expanding their table games though, to bring in more cash for the casino.
