Slots Everywhere?

I was wondering if what I heard was real, I have been told that when your in Las Vegas there are slot games practically every where that you go including in the gas stations and so on. Is all of that true?

If all of that is true then I know I could never live there, I would seriously lose my pay checks every time I went to fill up on gas or possibly do the laundry.

My friends who told me about this made it sound as though everywhere you turn just about there was a slot machine practically, and I am just wondering if what they said had any truth in it at all.
