Vegas Couple Guilty of Neglect Resulting in Death

This has nothing to do with gambling but I had to post about it. These kinds of things are just inexcusable and really tick me off.

A Las Vegas married couple have been convicted of involuntary manslaughter of their 4 year old son who had myotonic dystrophy.

The parents said that they forgot their son was strapped in the car seat and left in the car because they were ill and when they exited the vehicle they went straight to their rooms. They say they had assumed that one of the other children got the boy out.

Police say that the windows were rolled up in the car and the boy literally boiled to death with temps reaching 130 degrees.

I cannot understand these things. Why is it that some people who would make the best parents cannot have kids and others who should never have children produce five. I don't understand it. There is no excuse for what has happened.

And they have been found to have been abusive to the other children as well.
