Default Vegas Fire Damaged Several Business's

Four Las vegas business's were damaged early this morning due to a fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A police officer noticed smoke coming from the building on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonneville Avenue. When firefighters arrived they encountered heavy fire. They were able to get it under control and put it out around 3:40 am.

No one was injured but the roof did cave in and there is heavy fire damage in the attic area.

Firefighters were able to salvage most of the contents in the building.

The business's effected are The Strip Sandwich Shop, Bingo Bail Bonds, Rescue Bail Bonds and Eichhorn & Hoo Attorneys at Law.

Quote:
Debris from the fire littered the ground outside the white, stucco building Wednesday morning as workers assessed the damage. The property is cordoned off, but Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonneville are both reopened to traffic.
Since the fire seems to have started in the attic area I think it might have been electrical. We will have to see on that though. I am just glad that everyone is okay.

Default Re: Vegas Fire Damaged Several Business's

Uh Oh! One Las Vegas man is in some serious trouble over this fire as he his suspected of arson. The man in hot water is 43 year old Hans E. Aareskjold and he is the owner of the the Strip Sanwich Shop!

A lot of the dtails have not been made public yet because he is to appear in court on Friday.

Quote:
Jail records show Hans E. Aareskjold (AR'-es-cold) was being held Thursday pending a court appearance following his arrest Wednesday on a first-degree arson charge.

Las Vegas fire spokesman Tim Szymanski (zim-ANN'-skee) says Aareskjold was found to be responsible for the early-morning Feb. 9 blaze at the building at Las Vegas Boulevard at Bonneville Avenue.
It sounds like an insurance thing to me. What a terrible thing to do. Not only did he hurt his own business but three other business's as well.

At least no one was hurt I guess.
