Lol, I just noticed this post again and was thinking. No bringing back gifts here, I will play the slots, win a huge jackpot and treat everyone to something really nice when I get home.

I think that would be the better thing for me to do as most of those gifts are so expensive anyway, even the little things. So it just makes better sense to me to take pictures to show everyone and then give them something special on my return.

What do you think of that idea?

That does sound like a good idea, IluvVegas.

With the way phones are now-a-days, all you have to do is take a picture and send it to your friend or family member to see if that was what they wanted, if they wanted something special from Vegas.

I like surprises a lot better. When my wife use to bring a gift back from Vegas and give it to me, I would be excited about it.
I'm not sure if I would be if she told me what it was she was bringing, unless I specify what it was that I wanted; then she would surprise me anyways and get it for me.

Well, gifts from Vegas are nice, but if I won a giant jackpot, I would come home and buy each of my kids a nice car or something like that.

They would far rather have a car or cash than a key chain, lol.

Hey, I resemble that remark about a keychain as a gift. That's why I leave it up to my wife to buy the gifts in Vegas.

It's not that I'm cheap, it's just that even a little trinket like a keychain from Las Vegas would make me happy.

I feel your pain on the coffee mug! I bought a coffee mug once for my brother with the Bill of Rights printed on it--as you poured a hot beverage into it, the words would disappear. Unfortunately, as time went on, less of the civil liberties ever really came back--something my brother sees as good social commentary!

I love the idea of a Christmas ornament or a coffee mug. They are good conversation starters and great reminders to go back to Vegas!

Im hoping to get back to Vegas this summer then will bring back some souveniers. Maybe a kitchen fridge magnet that the kids parents can use to display some of their artwork or some of their A papers.

Key chains for the parents.

Yeah, IluvVegas, you had to add keychains in there didn't you?

My keychain collection hangs on a couple of key holders we have in the house. I think my Las Vegas one/s are stashed away in my bedroom (somewhere).

Keychains do come in handy from time to time.
