Make sure that you keep needed documents and spare cash in your hotels safe and only carry what you seriously have to.

The number of scams and the variety of them makes it more and more difficult to know what you should and shouldn't avoid.

Crime is everywhere but as I already mentioned when there are so many people in a an area such as Las Vegas you have to be on guard at all times.
