You really don't need to put the water in the fridge, unless you like cold water.
My wife is one who likes chilled water, but with my military background I've learned to drink water at room temperature.
It's easier on the body to drink water the same temperature as you're in.
Unless it's over 90 degrees, then you can get away with drinking water at 75 or 80 degrees.
As long as you feed the body water during hot weather, and cold weather too.
We normally use our mini-fridge for food stuff. (But the wife will still find a way to put in her water bottle)
