As a tourist you need to be diligent about what is going on around you in order to prevent yourself from being a crime victim.

Many people get caught up in what they are doing and forget that there are bad people out there looking for the opportunity to take whatever they can get their hands on.

Just keep you possessions in reach never where someone can grab and run. Keeping your hand firmly on your purse and not just on the strap.

Your wallet is best placed in an inside jacket pocket or front pocket and beware of the bump and grabbers. Keep your eyes open and make sure you know where you are. Try to stay in a group rather than walking alone. Times are tough and crime is on the rise. Don't be a victim.
