Default Time Management

When it comes to making plans for a trip to a place such as Las Vegas its important that you take your time!! Rushing around trying to get everything done in just a short amount of time means that things will be forgotten causing your trip to not be as wonderful as it should be.

Manage your time carefully to make sure that everything is taken care of at home, like the mail, pets, electronics and so on. Of course you also need to make sure that your reservations are taken care of. That you have various forms of identification in case you win big while you are there. You will also need to make sure that you have packed the clothes and other items that you will be needing as well.

Never forget some emergency money for those items that your not able to take with you on a plane and of couse just in case something does happen (which hopefully it wont).

By taking your time and doing what needs to be done, you can feel more secure that nothing has been forgotten and that will ease your mind giving you a much more relaxed and wonderful vacation to Las Vegas!!

I know exactly what you are saying. If you don't have the time to prepare for the trip you will forget something or be worried that you left something important undone at home. You will be thinking about it the whole time you are on the trip.

I think the best thing to do is to sit down way ahead of time and make a checklist for yourself. That way you can add thing to list the list as needed and when it comes time to get ready you can just check over your list and be at ease knowing you are ready!

remember to not overthink everything. important medication and feeding your pets aside, there is really nothing that you cant be without. a drivers license is all the id you need. you really only need it to check into the hotel and for airport security. not even so much for the latter. tell tsa to go to h#ll when they ask for id at the airport. this is the united states, not nazi germany, we do not have to show papers to travel in our own country. you do not need to show a social security card for wins over $1199. you only need to know your number.

You pretty much nailed that 1819. We are basically numbers with names behind them when it comes to monies owed and our ID's.

This reminds me of an incident when I got my first license in PA.

I gave the dmv my old CDL (professional drivers license, class A for driving a truck) and they told me it had been turned in/discarded already.
I told the officer, "Just look at my license, I'm a "Jr", you talking about my father's license".

Since the CA license did not have a SS number on it, they didn't believe me.

Then I told them to look at the "birth date" on the license. They don't go by that either.

I had to wait "2 weeks" before I could drive a truck again, in PA, because of their "backwoods" computer system in 1995.

It's all about "your number".

Thanks for all the advice 1819. It really stinks that we really arent people to places like casinos. We are just simply a bunch of numbers on a card.Though it is nice knowing that you dont need to carry several different forms of I.D in Las Vegas. That would really stink.
