Travel Advice

I have never traveled anywhere really. Though I am curious to know what kinds of advice would you all give to someone like me??

I don't know much about airport security, hotels, gambling (if I go to Vegas) and practically anything else.

So when it comes to someone planning a trip to Vegas or anywhere in the world for that matter what kind of advise would you give to help save time, money and headache??

I will admit that I doubt very much I will ever be able to talk myself into getting on an airplane to travel....but ya just never know what the future holds.

Now I have heard and read that the security at airports is really tight. So any suggestions to make that less of a pain sure would be nice to have!!
