Default Travel Tip

There are many hotels to choose from when heading off to Las Vegas. Though if your planning on going and want to save yourself some money, you may want to consider doing this by staying in one of the many hotels which are not located on the strip.

These hotels normally are much more inexpensive than those located right on the strip, though of course they don't offer many of the luxuries that some of the more expensive hotels do, but still this is a great way to save yourself some money if you don't mind not having such luxuries.

I know that when I get to Las Vegas this is what I am going to be doing now. I think I can live with out such luxuries, because most of my time will be spent out and about seeing the sites, gambling and doing what ever else strikes my fancy.

Personally I don't need to sit in a hotel room all day, nor do I need a spa or anything like that. Those things are nice but if you only have a short time to spend in Vegas then you will mostly likely not enjoy the luxuries that expensive hotels offer any way so why spend more than you need to.

I have to agree with you on that. The inexpensive hotels are the way to go. I'm not going to be spending a lot of time in my room anyway, just a room to sleep in is all will be. I do think that if you can afford a 1 or 2 night stay in one of the hotels on the strip it is nice to do, especially if you have some comp points that you can use. My friend went out there recently and stayed off the strip, but for their last few nights they stayed at the Venetian using some of his comp points. He said he LOVED it and next time he goes back he's going to do it again. LOL
