Vegas Vacation Tips
There are lots of different things that you need to think about while getting ready to visit Las Vegas. Weather, how to get around and lots of other things.
As far as the weather goes in Las Vegas, you need to know what to expect. Las Vegas averages 300 days of sunshine per year. They only get about four inches of rain annually. December, January and February are the coolest months with temps in the sixties. From June to September you can expect a scorcher with temps averaging in the high nineties to the low 100's.
As far as getting around goes, there are shuttle buses that can take you from the airport to hotels or casinos. If you want to go to the airport to a strip hotel it will cost you around $5.00. Some casinos offer free shuttles. You can do some walking but will most likely need to take a shuttle at some point from your hotel to the casinos and such.
Make sure you bring soft comfortable shoes along with you. You may also need dress shoes for certain events and dining but you will most certainly not want to wear them the whole time you are there!
Be safe while you are there. Pickpockets are abundant and they will try and get you if they think they can. Always be mindful of your wallet or purse, especially while standing in large crowds such as at the Bellagio Fountain Show.
