Default Weather conditions affecting air travel.

I, for one, would sure not want to fly to Vegas right now from where I live in Ohio.

We have had every imaginable type of winter weather you can imagine in the past couple of weeks, not to mention the unbearably cold temperatures that would cause wing icing on the planes.

There have been many flight delays and cancellations due to the weather, and I sure wouldnt want to be grounded somewhere between here and there.

So, one mistake to avoid is planning a trip out west by plane with all of this inclement weather. Better to stay home and stay safe and warm.

The people who are already out in Las Vegas must be pretty happy. They have been experiencing much warmer than normal temperatures out there unlike the midwest and the east coast who have been dealing with lots of snow and freezing temperatures.

They said Las Vegas residents will be able to wear short sleeves once again today. Las Vegas Valley will have temps around 68 degrees this afternoon! Thats a big difference between what the Dakota's and Nebraska are dealing with. North Dakota is experiencing wind chills 52 degrees below zero, South Dakota is seeing -40 and Nebraska -27! (Thought I had it bad lol!)

This morning in Las Vegas it was 46 degrees and they expect the warmer temps to continue through next week.

Lucky for those who live out there!

We are supposed to be getting a pretty decent snowstorm starting this afternoon where I live and lasting through Saturday night. I won't be flying anywhere either!

I think I would prefer to head out to Las Vegas when the weather is warm and sunny. Of course that is proably when Vegas fills up with tourists, but it would be well worth it, and I will deal with the horrible cold and snow here comfortably at home until that sun and heat return.
