Default Budgeted choices

Ok I have been looking into some hotels in Las Vegas trying to decide where I want to stay when I do make it to Vegas.

I am looking for something that offers alot of luxuries, but isnt going to completely break me to stay there.

Can anyone make some suggestions on where would be a great place to stay? I would like a hotel which has a spa and a gym would be nice.

Even in Las Vegas I have to keep up with my workout routine. I sure could use some advice on this one. I have seen a couple of places which sound like they are great places, but I would really like the advice of someone who has already been there.

Also I know that there are ways of getting discounts on rooms and such, does anyone know how to do this as well.

The more money I save on things like this the more I will be able to spend in the slot machines.

it has been man, many years since i actually paid for a room but i do know that deep discounts can be had at all properties. avoid imperial palace. it is usually the cheapest place on the strip but it is a dive. ballys, sahara, flamingo are usually very reasonable and, although at the bottom of the luxury scale, they are more than adequate....

I have never been to Las Vegas but I believe you get better comps by visiting the casinos and such. The more you play at a casino, the better the comps are that they offer you. So to begin with, I am not sure what kind of deals you can get.
