MGM Grand and things to do there.

At the MGM Grand, you can visit their Lion Habitat. There are 8 resident lions living here and they are all direct descendents of "Metro", the original MGM Marquee lion.

The display is open daily from 11 am to 10pm and admission to view the lions is free. If you get there at the right time, you can even watch as the trainers feed the lions a snack.

There is also a gift shop available to you as you leave the Lion Habitat where you can pick up a couple of souveniers.

Also, you can visit the CBS Television City Research Center.

This would be a lot of fun for television "junkies" as you get to watch screenings and give your opinion on the show.

This attraction is also free and who knows, you may get to see a "hit" in the making.

There are a wide variety of clubs and restaurants at MGM Grand. For instance, there is the Rain Forest Cafe where you can get a bite to eat. And if it is a club you are looking for, theres always Studio 54.

Then there is the MGM pool. It is actually made up of 5 pools and a 1000 foot river. So theres plenty of room for the whole family to swim at MGMs pool.

I know when I visit Las vegas I will be heading to the MGM Grand. All of these things sound wonderful, especially the Lion habitat.

Another reason I want to visit the MGM Grand is for the Shopping. I know the MGM Grand offers what is called the Studio Walk which is a 115,000 sq foot promenade of shopping.

I am one who loves to go shopping, so this is a must do for my Vegas trip. I also want to check out the Showcase Mall which is right next door for even more shopping fun.

I just know that when I return from Las Vegas my credit is gonna be in trouble.LOL.

Just kidding I know how to be a good girl when it comes to shopping wisely. Buy small things so you can buy more...isnt that how it works?? LOL.

I'd like to go there just to see their casino, said to be the largest in the world.

I've seen MGM from the catwalk across the street, at it seems to be covering nearly a square mile of area just by looking at it.

I was taking pictures of the strip during a visit a while back, and it's hard to get a good one of the whole MGM Resort property.
