Default Room Upgrade

My old man's parents travel to Las Vegas at least twice a year to have fun. I wish this is something I could do but sadfully can't. Any way they were telling me about their last trip there.

I guess there was some kind of mistake on the room reservations, they were apparently given the wrong room and because of this the hotel not only upgraded their room for one of the most expensive rooms there but also gave them free tickets to a show that was going on and of course free dinner as well.

Now that is one heck of a deal just because of a minor mix up. They were happy with the room they had even though it wasn't the one that they had reserved prior to their trip. So just because of a minor mix up some where along the line they recieved some great compensations.

Its nice to see that when little things like that happen that the hotel does what it can to make sure that all customers are kept happy.

I guess this could all just be because happy people gamble more, I don't know for sure, but either way it is still nice to know that hotels in Las Vegas do what they can to make people happy.

Its fantastic that the hotels go to such extremes for their customers. But thats not at all surprising because the hotels do tend to make sure that their customers are happy with the rooms, meals etc. This is what keeps people coming back year after year.

Plus to throw in tickets for a show and a free dinner will definitely keep most patrons coming back, as they will know that the hotel is there for their happiness.

And don't forget that probably half of the Vegas rooms sit empty, so there's plenty to go around right now

Well I just got some good news. Next trip that my man's parents take to Las Vegas I am being kidnapped and taken along as well. Of course my man is going too as well, I wouldn't allow that to happen if he weren't.

Now I just have to manage to force myself onto a plane because that is how they get there. I really wish that they would drive but they don't. They fly then they rent a car while they are there.

I hope I have the guts to do this. I do look forward to seeing Vegas for the first time. I am planning on taking a whole lot of pictures while I am there of course, and I will share them with everyone when I do get back.

I don't know for sure when they are going again exactly, but hopefully my boss will allow me some time off for this trip. Guess I should have saved my vacation time for this trip but I didn't know about it then.

Wish me lots of luck in the future that I finally get to experience Las Vegas.

I do think that most of the hotels do things like that for their customers, especially those who frequent vegas.

Thats awesome that you will get to go to Vegas. Any idea when? Take lots of pics for us to see!!!

No sorry I don't know exactly when they are planning on going again. It won't be until some time in 2011 though. They have already made their two trips this year already.

I do plan on taking lots of pictures. I am really going to stand out as a tourist there but that is alright, I will be with several people so I think I will be safe.

Now as I said before I just need to get over my stupid fear of flying and all will be good to go.

There is no way I am going to turn down an all expense paid trip to Vegas. The only thing I am gonna have to pay for of course is my gambling and trinkets from my trip. That sure works for me though!!!!

Hi,
Guy actually If staff makes a mistake that causes a delay they misplace your luggage or, in a worst-case scenario, fail to make your room safe'make it known that an upgrade will help you forget all about the bad experience.

My only fear of flying is the landing part. On a trip from the Bahamas, the pilot landed so hard I thought for sure the landing gear would give out and we'd be walking the tarmac to our gate.
That was one of some 20+ flights through the years and it was just after a storm.

If you plan on buying trinkets from Vegas and taking them home, be sure to take an extra bag with you and possibly paying extra to get that bag home (unless you fly Southwest who don't charge for baggage).
