Gambling Ring Involving Slot Machines

I was poking around on the internet and was reading this story about illegal slot machines. There isn't a whole lot of information but it was enough to pique my interest.

It doesn't say where this is going on at but I guess police are investigating an $18 million dollar illegal slot machine operation. The operation is being linked to dozens of bank accounts across the country.

Undercover police detectives found and played on different illegal slot machines at as many as thirty locations. They were in liquor stores and taverns.

The machines are illegal because they have "point clearing" mechanisms installed on them.

The police are still investigating the operation and are seizing the property that is known to be involved.
