Stay on one machine or move?
I believe that if i stay on one machine long enough i will end up winning or breaking even on it....i think the longer you play, the better the odds on that machine. But others believe that if it does not get on some kind of streak after so many pulls, that its cold and you should leave it and find one that is hot??
What is everyone's thoughts on this??
thanks

whatever you feel comfortable doing. it makes no difference what you do. the machines are random and have no memory. see other posts i have posted on the subject and good luck......

I always move. I don't have the patience to sit there, keep putting money in, and losing!! LOL I alway try to find the ones that cashed out at a bigger amount, then I like to try to give those ones a play.

Re: Stay on one machine or move?
I have tried both ways..LOL neither one works for me. I guess my luck is never good. I do stay one one the most though, I figure if I am going to spend it put it in one machine and hope it will soon pay out. Most of the time I break even before I get tired..LOL

Re: Stay on one machine or move?
On the other side of the spectrum, I have been told that if you put say $20 in the machine and havent hit anything by the time half of it is gone, that you should move on to another machine.
But then I have done that and seen someone sit down at the machine I just left and hit for very large amount of money. So I guess the bottom line is, we just gotta take our chances.

very true. take your chances. you brought a popular myth into the open though. when you get up from a machine and someone else sits down and hits it does NOT mean that you would have hit. the random number generator generates numbers(winning/losing combinations)so fast that it is not possible to hit the button at the exact moment as the person who sat down after you. it is not the number of spins played on a machine it is when the spin button is pushed. some of our big hits would not have happend if we would have hit the button a split second before or after when we did. in contrast many of our losing spins could have been big hits if the same applied. that is what makes the games random and pattern free. that is why slot machines cant be "beat".

Re: Stay on one machine or move?
Ok 1819, i have another question to go with your post above. If you are not hitting on a machine, should you try spinning in a different rhythm? would that make the speed or slowness of your "in between" spins make a difference?
I mean it may be possible to change your luck on a dud machine by changing your timing on the spins?

I think you just have to go with your own gut feeling. Whatever you feel inside. There isn't any right way or wrong way about it. The machines are going to hit when they are set to hit. You have no control over it. Wish we did though lol!

you can try a different rhythm for your own sanity but it will not make any difference. millions upon millions of combinations are being generated every second. even if you knew when to hit the button it wouldnt matter. humans are simply not that fast. you are at the mercy of a computer.

Re: Stay on one machine or move?
I like to move around, just because it's fun to try new machines.
But what abut the belief that the machine changes pace when you change the betting amount?
